Bombing of Kassa, 26.06.1941

The bombing of Kassa (then Hungary, today Košice, Slovakia) on June 26, 1941, was an important moment of the Hungarian history. After the bombing, even if it hasn't been clearly clarified since then who were the perpetrators, the leaders of Hungary thought it was enough reason to join the German invasion against the Soviet Union. The pictures below showing ruins after the attack and the funeral of victims (Published in Tolnai Világlapja, vol. XLIII., issue 28., 09.07.1941).
