The (Hi)Story of My Life
About
I obtained my degree as a Historian in 2003, in Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest. I worked for the Holocaust Memorial Centre, Budapest, from 2003 to 2009 and 2011-2012. I also helped the work of the Carl Lutz Foundation, Budapest, and the Budapest Holocaust Institute for a while, and continued my research of the events of the Holocaust in Hungary and its age in a period when it wasn't my job officially.
My work was very complex in the Holocaust Memorial Centre, I did research, created and participated in creation of temporary exhibitions, collected artifacts and documents from survivors and relatives of survivors, made interviews with survivors of the Holocaust and its age, I answered questions of researchers, journalists, students or visitors related to the Holocaust and the Holocaust in Hungary, I helped the educational work of the institute.
I think to use the newest technology in our work is very important, and I made content for websites, edited websites and Facebook sites. Also, I always used PowerPoint to my lectures, because the visual part is very important to get the attention of people. A well-chosen picture sometimes has a greater effect on the audience than a huge amount of data.

Mission
Before we started university, it was told us, that history is the Queen of Sciences. I think it's absolutely true. To understand history you have to be a bit of an investigator, a bit of a psychologist, a bit of an economist, a bit of a philosopher and so on. Even to be able to act a bit and some writing skills can be useful. I hope I can show this colourful side of history to everyone.
